Portland Massage

I recently had the pleasure of doing a few head shots for Rachel Pincetich of Portland Massage.  She is an amazing massage therapist.  My habit of carrying my camera bag on my left side for the last 10 years has done a number on my shoulders, back and neck.  Rachel has eased the pain in my muscles and convinced me to dust off my camera backpack for longer shoots.  If you are in the market for a massage, and who isn’t, check out Portland Massage.

Vibe of Portland

I recently had the opportunity to check out Vibe’s after school guitar and drum classes at Harrison Park K-8.  I was so impressed with the kids and the program.  If you would like more information about Vibe classes or how to donate to this local non-profit please visit http://www.vibeofportland.com.

Along came the twinks…

One of the best things about photographing families is documenting them as they grow and change.

The family I am adding to the blog today has been with me for nearly three years.  Many fantastic sessions and a few short years later…they are a family of 5.  The twins, or twinks as mommy says, are already pros in front of the camera.  This fall I had my second session with the twinks.  What a blast!  Having relaxed, fun parents, an entertaining older brother and a helpful nanny made it easy to capture honest expressions from these sweet babies.  Below are some of my favorites from our family session.

Mariela

I thoroughly enjoyed photographing Mariela while she played in her backyard, ate sour plums and danced through the woods.

Here are a few of my favorites.

Belly to baby

It is so amazing to watch families grow!  This spring I was able to photograph Tania and her family before and after Will’s birth.
