Hello.  My name is Jill.  I have a husband, 3 kids, 2 dogs and I love my job.

Photography is the bees knees.  My first camera was a used Nikon FE.  My second camera was an old record box fashioned into a pinhole camera that made 11×14 negatives.  As I lugged my 25 pound pinhole camera around downtown Minneapolis in the spring of 1992,  I fell in love with the art of photography.

For the past 10 years I have been fortunate enough to earn a living photographing people.  I can’t imagine doing anything else.  I am inspired by the people I meet and the ever changing landscape and energy of my amazing city, Portland, OR.   I take pride in getting to know my clients and creating images that truly represent them.  I wear my heart on my sleeve.  I am patient, energetic and compassionate.   My approach to life, photography and business makes for a fun and unique experience for my clients.
